Abstract

The fowl soft-tick, Argas persicus, poses a significant threat to the poultry industry. Once a flock is infested, soft tick control becomes a formidable challenge, and they persist through multiple generations. This communication details A. persicus infestation in a poultry farm located in Barnala District, Punjab, along with their morphology, pathogenesis and control.
