The questionnaire was distributed among 140 undergraduate students of Library and Information Science pursuing education at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko. It finds that the majority of the respondents make use of social media on a daily basis. The greater numbers of respondents are accustomed with the use of the frontline social media like Facebook. The major hardware used is the mobile phone, while the purpose of social media use is interactions with colleagues. Respondents agreed to the fact that distraction was the major challenge.
