Abstract

Newspaper is an important source of information for university students. Many students read newspapers daily to keep themselves informed about the important happenings and events around the world. Students prefer both print and electronic format for reading newspaper. This study focuses on Newspaper Reading Habits of Postgraduate Students of Punjabi University Patiala by the opinions collected from the respondents through well-structured questionnaire in the Google form. The study finds that The Tribune is the most preferred newspaper in English language by the respondents followed by Indian Express and The Hindu. Dainik Jagran is the most preferred newspaper of Hindi language followed by Punjab Kesri and Dainik Tribune.
