KIIT Journal of Library and Information Management from 2019 to 2023: A Bibliometric Study

‘KIIT Journal of Library and Information Management’ is a prestigious journal in the field of Library and Information Science and it is a marvelous platform for the librarians and information professionals of our country and abroad. ‘KIIT Journal of Library and Information Management’ is playing an important role in the dissemination of theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of Library and Information Science. The journal has received international recognition as people from many different countries are being contributing paper to it. This paper is a bibliometric study of the ‘KIIT Journal of Library and Information Management’ that covers the ten issues from 2019 to 2023. The study examines the contributions from different point of views. Moreover, the analysis present the volume-wise distribution of contributions, authorship pattern of contributions, gender-wise distribution of contributions, citation-wise distribution of contributions, types of publications cited, distribution of contributions on different micro-subjects of Library and Information Science clearly and vividly. It gives an idea about the journal by the way of bibliometric study in a pinpointed manner. The paper would be helpful for the research scholars, students and teachers in the field of Library and Information Science especially for the scholars in the field of Bibliometrics and Scientometrics.
