This research paper focuses on how the management of the media library and its resources has been done in greater Guwahati, Assam. This paper deals in unveiling the affiliation, organization and protection of the resources of the media libraries. At first stage the media library resources were mostly available on tapes, films, reel, etc. But with the emergence of ICT, the resources are available in digital mode like CDs, DVDs, etc. Now-a-days as the globalization economy is on the way to becoming more competitive and more successful, a media library along with other basic resources such as money, materials, and manpower also needs finest information resources. The study yields some interesting findings. In some cases, some doubtful results have been arrived in answer to the reliably sorted out quest.
