Mapping the research productivity of Jadavpur University a period from 2011–2020: A bibliometric analysis

The purpose of this study is to assess the quantitative growth and development of research productivity of Jadavpur University during ten years ranging from 2011 to 2020 as reflected in the Scopus database for users to retrieve bibliographic data by applying affiliation search. The study carried out the intellectual output of the researchers of Jadavpur University. The investigators have conducted this study to find out the publications of Jadavpur University in various disciplines, document types, literature growth, the citations received, impact factors, source journals, collaborating institutions, countries. The present study used tools, techniques and software packages for analyzing and visualizing bibliographic data of Jadavpur University. From 2011 to 2020 total numbers of published documents were 17060 by the researcher of Jadavpur University with the collaboration of a reputed Institute. The study also found that most of the 1954 documents were published in 2018. Moreover, the study reveals that most of the publications by the multi authors were the highest compared to single authors.
