Research performance of South Asian University: A three-dimensional approach

Abstract

This paper evaluates the research productivity of South Asian University with a three-dimensional approach. The total number of recorded publications during 2011 to 2021 was 1175 with a mean of 9.07 citations per paper. Article contributed 60% of the total publications. The h index, m quotient and z index of the university was observed to be 45, 4.09 and 23.75 respectively during the study period. P.K. Muhuri was found to be the most prominent author with 97 papers and h index 19. Furthermore, H Pandey has achieved the highest impact of 31.83 and highest z index 19.84. Economics & Political Weekely was the most preferred journal along with other scientific journals. Bradford's law does not fit the dataset. Among the various subjects Computer Science, Mathematics and Social Sciences were the most researched areas.
