Every stressor is neutral in nature to the individuals. However, the natural response to any stress by the individuals is to consider it as unconstructive. They make every effort to get rid of it or otherwise try to prevent it in the first place. The available literature on stress often focuses on explicit causes of stress prevention and intervention strategies for managing these causes of stress in life. Literature from different sectors has not focused much on how people can look at stress in an optimistic manner. Stressors that are positively assessed by individuals can help them to sustain or enhance their personal happiness, which is termed as eustress. This write-up in an unusual format brings out the positive consequences of stress and stress management. It is in three stages. The first stage describes the general perception of the harmful effects of stress on human mind and the resulting damages. Later, the author, through a narrative of personal anecdotal experiences in a dialogue format, brings out the flip side of stress and stress management to the positivity and strength it generates. This write-up is a precursor to the development of such a frame work.
