Stress word defined as psychological and physiological dimensions which are derived from physics and mechanics. Today the phenomenal growth of banks has created massive employment opportunities for the educated women of our nation. The women job-seekers found that jobs in banking sectors are more attractive and more suitable in comparison to another field. Further the technology has also played a significant role in this change. In-spite of that banking sector is one of the high stress creating sectors among the women workers. From the various studies it is found that increasing women literacy in India, growing economic pressure, and desire to gain economic and social independence are pushing womenfolk to take up gainful career in banking sector. As well as the banking sectors today offer more opportunities of jobs for women-both qualitatively and quantitatively. However, there are some common problems and challenges that are the biggest stress generator on the life of women managers, officers and clerical groups especially in banking sector. A women play both primary breadwinner and primary care taker role as these dual role of working woman which also include the burden of their dual life, lack of understanding between team members, lack of mutual understanding and respect within co-workers, customers and superior from diverse backgrounds which create a tension whereas most men do not experience when juggling work and personal responsibilities. In this paper, we studied about that challenges faced by working women in every step of their life which becomes very hard for them. Some times that hardness becomes a major barometer of creating stress in their life.
