Dynamics of Imagery among Visually Impaired: Review of Some Theoretical Propositions.

Mental Imagery plays a significant role in the creative process in diverse educational and technological fields even in physical and biological sciences. The ability to process information through imagery helps to predict and enhance creative thinking in children and adults. Mental imagery is quite helpful to solve spatial problems or work related problems that require creative thinking. It is useful to solve mathematical problems, understand a graph or construct a mental representation from a technical diagram etc.

The paper has made an attempt to understand the concept of imagery, various models, theories and principles of imagery as well as fundamental nature and properties of imagers. It has also critically highlighted the importance of imagery in education of the visually impaired.
