Teacher effectiveness is a concern since the last decade. Researchers are trying to understand the parameters and indicator of teacher effectiveness. The present paper examines the teacher effectiveness of teacher educators of Punjab from Jalandhar district with high, average and low levels of stress and Locus of control. Findings indicate that Teacher effectiveness of teacher educators is significantly affected by different levels of stress. Teacher effectiveness is higher among high stressed teachers as compared to average and low stressed. Locus of control is an important factor affecting teacher effectiveness. The main cause of stress among teacher educators is ‘self’. Most of the teacher educator's possess individual control which means most of the teachers control their outcome by their own thinking.
