Abstract

The present study attempt to diagnose different types of learning disability, it'sprobable causes and brings out remedial programme for correcting thoselearning disabilities. The investigator selected a sample of 24 schools coveringtwo Govt. schools and one private school in each district of Nagaland which weredrawn through stratified random sampling technique. 564 tribal Naga children studying in grade IV level were taken from each district as sample of the study. The research instruments used for data collection were: Group test of intelligence (G.T.I) by Dr. Mrs. Pramila Ahuja, Diagnostic Reading and spelling test (DRST), Handwriting test(HT), Diagnostic Arithmetic test (DAT) developed by investigator, Interview schedule forlearning disabled Pupils,Questionnaire forteachers, Interview schedule for parents prepared by theinvestigator.
