Abstract

With the emerging phenomenon of information and communication technologies, the areas of education and research have witnessed significant changes. The by-product of these technologies is the Internet, which is variously used for different purposes. Internet is being widely used for education and research. The method of web-based research has started to gain momentum. Researchers have found the usefulness of Internet as a very effective medium for conducting research work. The paper discusses the use of Internet in social science research and how different steps in methodologies of social science research can be conducted over Internet to complete research work.
