Abstract

This paper analyses the price rising trends of 23 foreign and 10 Indian periodicals, acquired by DRDE library, Gwalior during 1997–2006. An attempt has been made to view rising trends in subscription rates of periodicals individually as well as in group (publisher wise). Average growth in price per year has been given in tabular form with the help of graph. Concludes that all periodicals foreign as well as Indian have increased the subscription rates from time to time therefore budget must be increased accordingly and to maintain the collection of periodicals in DRDE, Library, Gwalior.
