Abstract

The present paper discusses the WIPO Treaties on intellectual property rights. World Intellectual Property Organization is an International treaty making body. It administers total 24 treaties on intellectual property rights, which are working for various purposes. These treaties are divided into three categories viz. IP Protection, Global Protection System and Classification. The present paper covers a brief introduction about each treaty. It also focuses on the number of participating countries in each treaty and lists the treaties in which India is a contracting party.
