Content Analysis of Library Websites/pages of Central Universities of North India: A study

In the present scenario websites are more accessible to users than the libraries themselves. The present paper studies the contents available on the library websites of central universities of north India. The data was collected from the websites of the central universities by a checklist prepared for this purpose. The websites of the libraries were thoroughly scanned and analysis was done. Based on the analysis top five websites are identified. The main purpose of this paper is to guide the librarians in improving their library websites. The basic aim of this paper is to give suggestions for improving the contents of the library websites.
