The study explores the cognizance levels of library professionals concerning the IoT-based Web 3.0 services at the University of Jammu. It surveys 50 professionals and reveals a general non-existence of the understanding and the consciousness as far as the IoT and its applications in libraries are concerned. Although the conclusions specify recognition of the significance of IoT’s, the adoption of the technology’ in these libraries remains inadequate. The study employs a Chi-Square test to analyse the affiliation between the professionals’ individualities and their awareness, perceptions, and challenges regarding IoT, ultimately bringing to the fore the initial stages of IoT integration in their work environments. The outcomes could certainly provide the insights into the necessary training and resources required to increase their knowledge and skills in implementing IoT and Web 3.0 solutions effectively within library settings.
