Abstract

Academic performance in higher education is commonly evaluated through research output and citation impact, while governance contributions remain underexamined. This study quantitatively analyses Professor KP Singh’s participation in faculty selection and promotion committees (2020-2026), positioning academic governance as a measurable dimension of institutional impact. Using descriptive statistical methods, the study examines post distribution, appointment and promotion ratios, committee trends, structural composition, and workload indicators. A total of 457 posts were evaluated across 210 committees, with 49.45% concentrated in 2021–2022. Appointment cases accounted for 74.84%, compared to 25.16% promotion cases, reflecting recruitment-oriented engagement. Appointment committees were largely peer-driven (63.97% Academicians), while promotion committees showed higher expert representation (51.35% Subject Experts). The study highlights administrative engagement as an integral component of multidimensional academic performance assessment.
