Pt. Gaya Prasad Shukla ‘Sanehi’, a dazzling star in the history of Hindi Literature, is an eminent poet. His remarkable contribution for the development of Hindi Literature is similar to Bhartendu Harishchand and Pt. Mahabir Prasad Dwevedi. He has also inspired and associated the poets of his time. His association of poets is popularly known as ‘Sanehi-Mandal’. It is consisted of nearly thirteen poets who are well versed in Brij Bhasha and also wrote in Khari Boli. Dr. Jagdish Gupta is considered the best among the later poets of ‘Sanehi-Mandal’. In this chapter the literary achievements of the poets of ‘Sanihi-Mandai’ and particularly the invaluable contribution of Dr. Jagdish Gupta for Brij Bhasha is analised.
