Abstract

This paper purports to explore the use of modern Information and Communication technology tools in the classroom and attempts to study a paradigm shift from traditional to IT based modern classrooms which will gradually transform the existing educational pattern for the betterment of modern civilization and analyses the advancements and benefits of ICT based tools such as interactive whiteboard, visualizer, digital signage system,response system, projectors, educational content, classroom management software, and mind mapping software over the existing traditional means of classroom teaching.
