Abstract

Food and feeding habits of vertebrates have been reported by various authors. Informations on seasonal Variations in feeding are limited. In fishes a correlation between the digestive organs and food & feeding habits have been reported by Agarwal & Tyagi (1969) and Shanna (1983). In amphibia similar work has been done by Berry (1965) & Nigam (1979). In birds, contribution on food, feeding habits and seasonal variations in feeding of Hill Birds are scanty. In the present findings it was observed that monthly variations in RLG and seasonal variations in food are in accordance to the quality and quantity of the food supply.
