Ecology of Psittaculla karmeri, Scopoli, a frugivorous bird with special reference to its role as a pest of crop and fruits

The rose ringed parakeet, Psittacula krameri is amongst the most common and the most destructive birds of India which inflicts huge damages to grains of standing crops, orchard fruits and vegetable crops. Feeding flocks of parakeets on crops create a lot of problems.
