The present study regarded Intelligence not as static entity inside a person but as various mental processes or operational styles used by people in receiving, perceiving & understanding information about the world. Operational styles were studied in terms of the NLP concept of representational systems, which are of three types auditory, visual & kinesthetic. (Bandler & Grinder, 1975). Intelligence was measured primarily by reasoning ability. Data was collected by a questionnaire survey from 400 employees of two public sector undertakings in Mumbai & Ahmedabad. Results indicated that only Visual representational systems had a strong positive impact on intelligence.
