Abstract

By the mantra of Sarvodaya given to us by Gandhiji we could dissolve the Hydrogen Bomb and wipe out the war clouds hovering today. But he deplored that many of those in the Sarvodaya movement had not fully understood the implication ofthe non-violent economic order. The roots of the Hydrogen bomb lay in the economic order brought about by the west. We had to get rid of them and rebuild and reform our lives on the basis of what Gandhiji taught us. The present world is full of chaos and confusion, because every body is interested in filling his beily. Man is utterly selfish no body has time to listen to other. The fire of hatred is burning in the world internally but it is not visible outwardly. There is tension all around. It is a fact that science has given us many things of ease and comfort but it is also a fact that it has given us atoms and hydrogen bombs by which the world can be destroyed within the twinkling of an eye. It seems to me that the prevailing chaos and confusion in this world can come to a close by proper understanding and cultivation of the ideals of Sarvodaya Philosophy. This is the ‘panacea’ for all social-ethical, religious, political and economic evils which are ready to devour the entire man kind.
