Abstract

Wilt complex of lentil, an important disease caused predominantly by Rhizoctonia solani, Sclerotium rolfsll and Fusarium Oxysporum F.Sp. lentis was effectively controlled by the biocontrol agent Gllocladlum virens and Its gamma radiation induced mutants (M-3 and M-7) in the field conditions. Evaluation of G. virens and its mutants in wheat bran was dust medium through soil application and In spore suspension through seed coating method gave equally effective disease control in comparison to chemical control under field conditions.
