Abstract

Seed treatment with Bavistin or Thiram was significantly better in reducing the leaf spot and rust with concomitant increase in yield over untreated control, Among the spray chemicals Dunet at 0.5% and Mancozeb at 0.25% were most effective in reducing disease; intensity and in increasing yield. Seed treatment with Thiram (0.3%) with subsequent spray with Mancozeb at 0.25% was the best combination in reducing disease intensity in Rajmash.
