Abstract

Thirty-six genotypes of chickpea were studied for 16 characters includlng seed yield per plant. Correlations between yield and its components were worked out. Pods per plant exhibited highest positive significant association with seed yield per plant followed bY seeds per plant, biological yield per plant and secondary branches per plant.
