Abstract

Field experiment was conducted to study the effect of foliar nutrients on the performance of green gram during summer season of 2001. lhe results revealed that the growth parameters i.e., plant height, leaf area index, biological yield, numbe;-of branches per plant and yield attributes viz., number of pods pir plant, pod length, number of grains per pod were significantly higher with DAP (2%) + KCI (1%) + ZnSO. (0.5.%) sprayed at 15, 30 and 45 days after sowing [T8) This was followed by two sprays of DAP (2%) + KCI (1%) + ZnSO4 (0.5%) given at 30 and 45 DAS (T4).
