Abstract

Twenty-five mungbean genotypes were evaluated in field under three replications, using principal component analysis genotypes grouped in ten distinct clusters based on nineteen parameters involying phenological, physiological and yield forming traits, Cluster number vm was the largest cluster having five genotypes, whereas clusters I, II, VI and X were large having three genotypes in each and these clusters accounted for 17 (68%) of the.genotypes. Geographical origin of genotypes did not show any relationship with genetic diversity.
