Abstract

An experiment was conducted during 1995–96 to 1997–98 to find out the effect of bio-fertilizers on production of pea. On the basis of three years pooled data, the highest yield was recorded with the application of recommended doses of fertilizer followed by soil application of bio-fertllizers mixed 25 kg FYM along with 50% recommended dose of fertilizers and were at par statistically. So the use of bio-fertilizer with 50% recommended dose of fertilizer saved 50% N, P (10 kg N. 25 kg P2O5. It also saved the financial resources as well as FYM.
