Abstract

The effect of copper nutrition of fatty acid composition in different varieties of soybean (Glycine max. L. Merrill) oil was studied. The saturated fatty acid decreased while unsaturated fatty acids increased and unsaturated/saturated ratio increased in soybean oil with different copper application upto 10 kg Cu/ha. Variety PK 416 and Bragg contained more saturated fatty acids while PK 262 and PK 1042 accumulated more unsaturated fatty acids.
