An experiment was conducted during 1999–2000 to assess the effects of biofertillzers, nutrient sources and lime on growth and yield of garden pea in acidic soils of Garhwal hills. Composite inoculation of Rhizobium leguminosarum and Pseudomonas striata significantly increased the growth and yield of pea. Nutrient sources such as FYM, NKP, combined application of FYM + NKP also increased the growth and yield of pea. The highest growth and yield components of garden pea was recorded in application of lime @ 4 t/ha followed by FYM + NKP. The least growth and yield was noticed in control treatment.
