A field experiment was carried out to assess the incorporation effects of applying biomass from Gliricidia Sepium biomass to the soil on the yield of Cassava (Mannihot esculenta). Cassava cuttings were planted during May to August 1995 and biomass incorporation was done after 3 weeks of planting. Crop harvesting was done from June – October 1996. Results showed that biomass from Gliricidia sepium enhanced cassava tubers and yield per hectare.
