Field experiments were were carried out during 1998 to evaluate the effect of different graded levels of LFA (10t ha−1, 15t ha−1 and 20t ha−1) in combination with FYM (12.5t ha−1) on nodulation pattern of black gram cv ADT-3. The study revealed that the highest effective nodules (32.00) in LFA @ 10t ha−1 along with FYM application and it was followed by LFA @ 15t ha−1 + FYM @ 12t ha−1 (26.42). The least effective nodules were recorded in control (20.33). Higher dosage of lignite flyash alone inhibited the nodulation behaviour of blackgram.
