Abstract

Blalckgram genotypes were evaluated with respect to seed yield and its component traits, during kharif 2004, 2005 and 2006. Significant G × E interaction was observed for seed yield, days to 50% flowering, number of pods/plant, pod length and 100 seed weight. Linear component of G × E was non-significant for all the traits. The stability analysis based on regression co-efficient, mean and S2di revealed that the genotype, BDU 3–20 was stable for seed yield and number of seeds per pod under protective irrigation.
