Abstract

Climate change will affect all areas of the world - on the land, in the oceans and in the air. Climate change affects the social and environmental determinants of health - clean air, safe drinking water, sufficient food and secure shelter (https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/climate-change-and-health). IPCC (2021) has confirmed that temperature of the planet Earth is increasing. This is confirmed by warming of the oceans, rising sea levels, melting of glaciers, shrinking sea ice in both Polar Regions. In this article, we discuss the health impact of climate change during COVID-19 pandemic era, and solutions that can be devised to mitigate climate change.
