The studies on the seasonal incidence of mite, Tetranychus urticae Koch, on ashwagandha revealed that the infestation commenced in the last week of November 2011. The population increased gradually and reached to peak in the fourth week of December. The mite population declined from first week of January and decreased to negligible level in the fourth week of January 2012. The abiotic factors had no relationship with the population fuctuation of T. urticae.
