The objective of this work was to evaluate the performance, adaptability and stability of field pea using Eberhart and Russell's model. Ten field pea landraces were tested over three environments (seasons) 2010/2011, 2011/2012, 2012/2013 at Scientific Agricultural Research Center of Dara'a, GCSAR, Syria. The experimental design was the randomised complete blocks with three replications and the evaluated traits were number of pods per plant, number of seeds per pod, 100-seed weight (g) and seed yield (kg/d). Each genotype's performance stability was quantified using the regression of individual genotype's performance on the environmental index, which was measured by the mean of all the genotypes grown in an environment. A high-yielding, widely adapted and stable field pea landrace had a mean performance higher than the general mean, bi (coefficient of regression)=unity and S2di (deviation from linearity)=zero. For 100-seed weight, just the landrace 12923 was high performance, stable and suitable for favourable environments. Whereas for seed yield, only the landrace 20533 was highyielding, stable and it could be recommended for cultivation through high performing environments.
