The present study has been focused on to investigate the role of extracts of marine algae Chaetomorpha aerea against fish pathogens. The crude extract of the marine algae has shown promising activity against most of the screened pathogens. The green marine algae chaetomorpha aerea was very active against fish pathogens and could be a good source for the antifungal activity. In partitioning crude extract portioned between ethanolic and petroleum ether. The activity of each phase was screened using the disc diffusion method.
