Abstract

Aqueous leaf extracts of Artemisia nilagirica were evaluated at three different concentrations (2.5%, 5.0% and 7.5%) against red spider mite infesting tea under laboratory conditions. Results showed that leaf extracts of A. nilagirica at 5.0% and 7.5% concentrations showed 100% mortality of adult red spider mite. A maximum mortality (54%) of red spider mite eggs was noticed at higher concentration (7.5%) of leaf extracts of A. nilagirica.
