Global economy largely depends on acquisition of knowledge and skills. There are large number of students moving across cultures and boundaries to acquire these specialized skills that can bring them economic and social benefits. In order to get the best results on this investment in education, the professional training institutions need to define their education framework in a way that can meet the learning needs of the student community coming from diverse cultures. Whenever there is incongruence between the learning style(s) of individuals in a classroom and teaching style of the educator, the student though physically present may mentally opt-out of the programme. Understanding the learning styles of students becomes important for educators to be able to design and develop the curriculum and pedagogy in congruence with the group's learning style. It is expected that an optimum match is established between the learning style and the teaching style so that the entire teachinglearning process can be enhanced. The present study explores the learning styles of students pursuing management education in India and its implication on the educators.
