The present study aims to explore extent of Human Resource Development (HRD) climate prevalent in manufacturing organizations in India. Based on the information collected from 726 employees working in 18 organizations in manufacturing sector in India, this study has found that the overall HRD climate prevailing in this sector is of moderate level only.
