Usage of Smartphone Based Editing and Designing Applications among Media Professionals– A Study

Present research proposes to know the usage of smartphone among media professionals and to assess the usage of editing and designing applications among media professionals.

This study simple random sampling techniques will be adopted. A total of 200 respondents will be considered for the study.

There are many instances where we have seen smartphone have replaced traditional desktop computers. The portable feature and its ability to perform multiple tasks is a reason for increasing popularity of the smartphones. Today many media professionals are using this device for doing visual editing, photo editing and graphics designing purposes. There are hundreds of editing applications from which one can perform many professional tasks.

Smartphone has become an essential part of human life. It is one of the most rapidly growing technology in the field of communication. Today the advanced smartphones are capable of doing the same amount of work as desktop computers. High capacity storage and innovations in the field of smartphone processors are made these devices more powerful. Today we are in the stage from where one cannot imagine a life without these smartphones. There are billions of smartphone applications available in the internet designed for various purposes.
