Abstract

Entrepreneurship education provides the foundation for wealth creation largely through self-help process. Sustainable development could be achieved by empowering the populace with entrepreneurial skills that could make them venture into viable businesses. Communication is crucial to the achievement of entrepreneurship education in any society. This paper examines the place of the community theatre and indigenous communication channels in achieving entrepreneurship education goals in Nigeria. It adopts the analytical approach in explaining the pertinence of these communication channels in the area of entrepreneurship education and its implications to sustainable development in Nigeria. It recommends among others, the adoption of the community theatre and trado-modern multi-media approach in not only creating wareness on entrepreneurship education but also empowering people with meaningful entrepreneurial skills.
