Abstract

The purpose of this study is to empirically examine the relationship between intellectual capitals (i.e. human capital, relational capital, and structural capital) and business performance. A self-administered questionnaire survey was utilized to conduct the survey of 408 bank employees from nine sampled banks to assess their perception bout intellectual capital. Pearson correlation and multiple regression analysis were used for data analysis. The results of the study indicated that intellectual capital has a positive effect on the performance of commercial banks in Ethiopia.
