Revisiting Multi Factor Leadership Questionnaire and Subsequent Development of a New Leadership Scale

The paper seeks to revisit the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire MLQ so as to check its adoptability in the present scenarios of the businesses. Apart from the three leadership styles of MLQ, i.e., transformational leadership, transactional leadership and laissez-faire leadership, the study has included autocratic leadership as well for examination as this style is perceived to be prevalent still in some businesses. The final questionnaire has been framed after performing series of psychometric tests.
