The power sector in India has grown significantly and is a very important part of infrastructure. The huge size of the market in the power sector in India and the high returns on the investmentare the important factors in boosting FDI Inflows to the power sector. The present study has been conducted by me so as to have an insight with regard to the FDI inflows in the power sector in Indian Economy.
One of the challenges highlighted by the paper being faced by power sector in India is the gap existing between what is planned and what is actually achieved with regard to implementation of different power projects as per the Five Year Plan.
