This study aims at analyzing the work load, work shift and working hour related stress and its impact on individual life of nurses at selected hospitals in Tirunelveli city, Tamilnadu. The study has been done with the sample of l00 nurses from 10 hospitals at Tirunelveli city. Simple average, weighted average and Z-test have been used to analyze the data. The study has given suitable suggestions to reduce the work load, work stress and improve the job satisfaction and individual life of the nurses in Tirunelveli city, Tamilnadu.
