Abstract

Benzothiazol-2-amine is synthesized by aniline and ammonium thiocynate and its structure was also established using FTIR, UV-Vis and 1H-NMR spectroscopic technique. The synthesized compound was also tested for antimicrobial activity against bacterial and fungal strains.
