Abstract

A suicide pact means “the suicides of two or more individuals in an agreed-upon plan”. Plan may be to die together/separately & closely timed. The individuals involved in pact suicides have been usually ‘twoadults’ occasionally reports says ‘triple pact suicide’. Pact suicides have been most commonly reported from Japan. The usual profile of persons involved in pact suicides includes those females, older, married and of high social class. We discussed a case of suicide pact where. Two sisters end their life by hanging, in present case the history of emotional stress found due to the death of their mother & father resulting in severe degree of depression and finely financial constraint.
